A 5-pace gearbox transmits power to the rear wheels.

This engine is very revved and requires one feed within the revs for the power band to kick into. This trait is similar to better displacement Honda automobiles. The 150cc bike can accelerate well, but the CB Hornet 160R feels heavy at 90kmph. Vibes kick in via the handlebar and pegs. The in-tools acceleration is first-rate which is useful when overtaking on the highways.

The 5-pace gearbox, particularly from 1st through 2nd gear, is notchy. It’s similar to the Honda Unicorn 160. The gear ratios were clearly dispensed for visitors riding in the vehicle.
