Keeway, a European brand of motorcycles, produces scooters and mopeds. The company is owned by Q.J., a Chinese manufacturer.

The group also owns Benelli, an Italian motorcycle manufacturer that operates worldwide. Multinational R&D allows the brand to produce multiple motorcycles, thus allowing it to reach a larger market in Europe, America and Asia.

Since 2014, Keeway motorcycles have been available in Bangladesh. SpeedOZ Ltd was previously associated with Keeway Motorcycles’ official distribution in Bangladesh.

Keeway RKR165: This bike comes fully dressed and sports graphics. The graphics look very similar to other Keeway RK R series bikes. The bike is more calm and friendly thanks to its edgy graphics.

Clip-on handlebars are available on the Keeway RKR 165. Clip-ons can cause wrist and back pain for maximum riders, but not all. These clip-ons are equipped with handlebar risers.

The bike is not as comfortable as a commuter bicycle and may not be quite as fast as a crotch rocket, but it floats between both. You can ride this bike around Dhaka City on occasion, or commute in the City. It also allows you to show off your bike to your friends.

Keeway RKR 165 comes with a dual set of headlights, one for low beam and the other for high beam. The headlights are old-fashioned halogen lights, not LEDs. However, they are bright. The lights were tested on a highway. The results were good, so they were suitable for both the highway and the city.

The EFI engine is used in the Keeway RKR165. It has a single-cylinder engine with 4 strokes and 4 valves. The 164.7cc engine produces 17.8 bhp at 9500 RPM and 14 Nm torque at 7000 RPM. Although the bike is not as torquay, it’s quite powerful.

Even if you don’t have the ability to wheelie, your speed and linear acceleration will amaze your fellow riders. The triple spark plug system is responsible for the linear acceleration. The engine runs very smoothly thanks to the triple spark plug.

The Keeway RKR 165 includes a regular, wet multi-plate clutch. It was quite uncomfortable and stiff to ride the bike’s transmission during the test. It was also a little difficult to use the clutch.

Keeway K-Light: The Keeway K-Light 150’s main feature is its looks. The Keeway K-Light 150 bike is Bobber inspired. It is the only one of its kind in Bangladesh. It is a sight to behold. It is a complete head-turner with its slightly extended front fender, lowered seat and long tank. This bike reminds you of the Harley Davidson Fat Bob.

The complete cruiser package comes with the Keeway K-Light 150. The cruiser treatment has been applied to the switch gears. This bike was designed for comfort. The seat is quite soft and can be extended to fit a pillion. To ensure comfort, the bike has foot-pegs that are a bit more flexible.

The Keeway K-Light 150 is equipped with a dedicated engine for cruising. The engine is 4-stroke, 2-valves and has a single-cylinder. It also has 149.4cc. The engine produces 11.2BHP at 8500rpm, and 10Nm at 7500rpm. It uses a carburetor fuel-feeding system, which means that it can get 40 kmpl.

The Keeway K-Light 150 is equipped with a wet multi-plate clutch. It has a 5-speed transmission. For cruising comfort, the gear shifter can be extended to the front. Power delivery to the gears should be smooth and linear.

Keeway RKS 150 Sports: The dashboard is the first feature of the Keeway RKS 150 Sports. The dashboard has everything that a rider requires on a daily basis. The dashboard includes a digital display, an indicator LED set, and an analog rpm gauge. The digital display displays the time, gear position and fuel consumption.

The Keeway RKS 150 Sports’ second main feature is its light system. The bike includes a well-designed rear light, indicators, and headlight. The indicators are slim, sporty and minimalistic LED. They are also lighter than bulky indicators. The rear light is very small and lightweight. However, the headlight reminds me of the Duke 125.

The Keeway RKS150 Sports has a single-cylinder, 4-stroke and 148cc air-cooled motor. This engine is Euro-3-grade, meaning that it will produce significantly less air pollution. The bike can be started by either self- or kick-start. Maximum power output is 13.8BHP at 9500rpm, and maximum torque output at 7500rpm of 12.8Nm. This bike is very fuel-efficient because it has a high maximum torque and power. It is a carburetor motor engine and consumes between 35-38kmpl in the city, and 40-42kmpl when driving on the highway.

The Keeway RKS150 Sports has a basic, multi-plate, wet clutch. A 5-speed gearbox with linear power delivery to the engine is also included on the bike. To assist with shifting and avoid injury to your shoes, the gear shifter includes both front and back pedals.

Keeway RKS 125: The Keeway RKS 125 is a Keeway RKS 125 that was derived from the Keeway RKS 150 DNA. It is almost identical to its older brother. Keeway RKS125 was designed to be a sporty commuter bicycle. It is not boring like other commuter bikes in this category, but it does not shout “COMMUTER”, rather it looks sporty and interesting thanks to its muscular design.

The Keeway RKS 125 has basic, but very bright, headlights. Both the taillight and headlight are halogen. The taillight is very elegant and sharp. It is also very well-designed, with sharp indicators that make it stand out.

The Keeway RKS 125 is equipped with a single-cylinder 4-stroke engine and 125cc motor. It is both air-cooled and carbureted. The engine produces 11.3BHP at 8500rpm and 10Nm at 7000rpm. The engine’s torque kicks in late so the bike will not be aggressive but rather smooth and have slow acceleration. It is very fuel-efficient, with an average mileage of 50kmpl.

The Keeway RKS 125 includes a basic, wet multi-plate clutch. A 5-speed gearbox is also available, increasing the power delivery at top end.

They continued to distribute Keeway motorcycles until 2018. Aftab Automobile Limited (a concern of the Navana Group) took over official distribution of Keeway motorcycles in February 2019.

Aftab Auto, a company-owned brand, also participated in distribution of Benelli-branded motorcycles in Bangladesh.

Aftab Auto (Motorcycle Unit), is currently selling, servicing, and distributing spare parts for Keeway Motorcycles in Bangladesh.
